About

I’m Mary B. Moore—a British author who grew up all over the world thanks to my diplomat parents. From dusty outposts to busy cities, we lived everywhere, and while not all of it was glamorous, my parents made it an adventure. It shaped who I am today and definitely helped fuel my love of storytelling.

Now I live in Wiltshire, deep in the West Country, where the air smells… well, country-fresh, and the occasional moo drifts in through the window. I didn’t grow up here, but I’m British through and through—even if the local scents try to test that.

I’m a proud single mum to a teenage son who keeps me laughing with his quick wit and bonkers humour—traits that definitely run in the family. We find joy in the chaos and laugh as much as we can.

Writing has been my constant since third grade, when a teacher encouraged us to write and bind our own books each weekend. I never really stopped. In 2016, I finally took the leap and published my first novel—and I’ve been writing ever since.

As an indie author, I love creating wild, funny, heartfelt characters—whether it's the chaos of the Providence crew or the deeper threads of my more suspenseful series. Romantic comedy or edge-of-your-seat drama, if it ends with a HEA, I’m all in.
